Christian Education

Our Sunday school teaches and engages people in discipleship through Christian education in compliance with the divine commands of both the Old and New Testaments. We build relationships in a faith based community for learning and teaching God’s Word, the Bible; to develop a belief in Jesus Christ that can be applied to daily life. Teachers and students rightly divide the Word of God and apply it in everyday situations. We understand Sunday School deals with the life, the soul, and the aspirations of the individual for a lifetime. We are here to encourage, engage, and equip others to believe in the possibilities, to positively impact the life of every person they meet encouraging everyone they interact with on a daily basis.

Marriage Ministry

Our Marriage Ministry teaches that marriage is a covenant of a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, not to be terminated early by either party, it is for life. Marriage involves: compromise, commitment, concern, cooperation, communication, and many meetings of the two minds during their years of marriage. Marriage is not based on mutuality, but instead involves the agreement to sacrifice, persevere in love, remaining steadfast in sickness and health, for richer or poorer, sharing the good and the bad, the joys and the pains. Loving each other through it all. God is at the center of Christian marriages. Our mission statement is, “To initiate and continue a comprehensive ministry for married couples, encouraging couples to work toward the ideal relationship set forth by God.” “Then the Lord God said, ‘I see that it is not good for the man to be alone. I will make the companion he needs, one just right for him.’ ” Genesis 2:18

Men's Ministry

As men on a mission, we are striving for excellence with power and purpose for the edification of the body of Christ. We are ambassadors for Christ who boldly share the gospel with those who are lost, broken-hearted, and in despair. The Men’s Ministry  plans and executes various opportunities for men to grow spiritually. It is the job of a man to be an example of strength, authority, and discipline within the household. With this in mind, we plan and execute strategies for cultivating strong families, especially equipping men to be godly husbands, fathers, and leaders in their communities. Through this ministry we also give young men the guidance needed to develop into adulthood through his Word where they can then grow into strong men of Faith. “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13

Outreach Ministry

Our purpose is to be humble servants of God bringing honor and glory to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ through our lives. Our vision is to be dedicated to the work of the Lord. To be zealous to win souls for Christ. To enhance the growth of the church effectively by our evangelistic efforts. To love the Lord with all of our hearts, minds and souls under the guidance of the Holy Ghost. We also seek to operate in spiritual boldness and Godly love by touching the lives of the unconverted and the unchurched. We spread the love of Jesus in various communities. This is done through helping with physical needs as well as spiritual needs, according to the Bible. And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15

Usher Ministry

An usher’s job is to escort individuals to their seats, distribute programs, aid with offering and visitors/church family throughout the service. Their focus is solely towards winning souls for Christ and that starts with the first impression when entering the building. Ushers play a very important role within the church simply because they are the most visible and should be the most approachable person. Our usher says, “I enjoy being a doorkeeper for the house of the Lord.” The usher makes each experience memorable at Bethlehem. “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” Psalm 84:10

TRYM Youth Ministry

Our Vision Statement is to encourage this generation to have a Total Recall of the knowledge of Jesus Christ by Faith, with Hope, through Love. We develop young leaders that will build and enrich the body of Christ through the spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by supporting the ministry and community. TRYM’s purpose is to build, support, and develop a culture of young people who are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is done through  the use of various worship settings such as Children’s Church, Teen Church, Young Adult Bible Study, and our monthly TRYM Services. TRYM uses various forms of media and music to capture the attention of our media based generation. We strive to create a safe place for young people to worship God in their own way, and grow in faith while learning more each day about the Love Jesus has for them. “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
